The correct option is A 103Ω,5Ω
Balanced condition of meter bridge in 1 st case : PQ=4010040=23.....(1)

When Q is shunted , it means a resistance 10Ω is connected in

parallel across Q. so Q arm becomes 10QQ+10

so now balanced condition : P(Q+10)10Q=5010050

or P/10+P/Q=1

using (1), P/10+2/3=1 or P=103Ω

now Q=(3/2)P=(3/2)(10/3)=5Ω
