Solution

The correct option is C

commensalism

Competition is a population interaction between two closely related species that are fighting for the same resources. Competition is harmful for both the species involved, and the stronger partner outlives the weaker one, sometimes driving the weaker one to extinction. In predation one organism uses the other as food, therefore here one organism benefits and survives, while the other is harmed and perishes, but in predation the fitness of the organism is not the factor that determines its survival and death. Symbiosis is the same as mutualism, and in this interaction both the organisms benefit from each other.
