Solution

Hi,

A primary cell are designed in such a way that they can be used once. We cannot recharged the primary cell with electricity. They provide electricity by the electrochemical reaction occurring in the cell. Once, the chemical reaction in the battery use up the chemicals of the cell, they stops producing electricity and becomes useless. Hence, they offer high internal resistance.
