In a rectangle, if perimeter $= 480$ cm, $l = 18$ cm, then find $b$ .

$P = 480 ㎝, l = 18 ㎝$
We know that for a rectangle $P = 2 (l + b)$
$480 = 2 (18 + b)$
$240 = 18 + b$
$b = 240 - 18 = 222$
