For initial resonance:
λ=vairf=340340=1 m
(fundamental mode)

So, vibrating length of air column
For fundamental mode: L1=λ4=14=25 cm
For first overtone:
L2=3λ4=34=75 cm
For second overtone:
L3=5λ4=54=125 cm
i.e second overtone does not establish.

Minimum length of water column to have resonance =12075=45 cm

& maximum length of water column to create resonance =12025=95 cm

Also, distance between two successive nodes/antinodes =λ2=12=50 cm
