Applying Snells law,

For glass,

μ1sin60=μgsinr1 ...(1)

For water,

μ1sin60=μwsinr2 ...(2)

From eq (1) & eq (2)

μgsinr1=μwsinr2

μgμw=sinr2sinr1>1

So, r2>r1
