Question

In ΔABC,AB=AC and A:B=4:3. Find the measure of C.

Open in App
Solution

As we know that in a triangle sum of all the interior angles is 180.
So,
A+B+C=180 .....(1)

Given that:
Since, A:B=4:3

hence,
A=4x,B=3x

Since,AB=AC

Hence,
C=B=3x

Now,
Substituting the values of A,B,C in equation (1), we get-
4x+3x+3x=180
10x=180

x=18

Hence, C=3×18=57.
