The correct option is B If only assumption II is implicit
Though it is given in the statement that earth may lose many of its species, if it would lose all of its species cannot be commented on. Thus, assumption I is not implicit. Since there is talk of saving many species by studying them scientifically, therefore it is desirable and possible to study many animal species. Hence, assumption II is implicit. Option (b) is the correct answer.
