Given : AB = 4 cm, AC = 6 cm and AD = 8 cmIn ABC,AC >AB a>b ....(i) angle opposite the greater side is greatestIn ACD,AD > ACc>d ....(ii) angle opposite the greater side is greatestAlso, c is an exterior angle to ABC. So,c>a ........(iii)And b is an exterior angle to ACD. So,b>d ......(iv)Thus, from (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv),c>a>b>d.
