At steady steady, current through capacitors is zero. Hence effect of resistors in the circuit can be neglected.



When capacitors are connected in series with a battery of potential V.
Potential difference across each capacitor is given by
V1=[C2C1+C2]V and
V2=[C1C1+C2]V

Now,
V1=VAB=[22+6]100=25 V
V2=VBC=[62+6]100=75 V
