In frenkel defect why r cations dislocated and not anions. Since electrons are lighter than protons it would be more easier to dislocate??

frenkel defect arises when one of the cation or anion occupy interstitial site in lattice...but due to the small size of cation compared to anion , cations are easily dislocated.
