No, the transportation of mineral salts, water and food is not done by same of vessels. The mineral salts and water are specifically transported by xylem vessels, which originate from the roots and extend to the tips of the leaves. Food, on the other hand, is transported by phloem vessels which extend from leaves to different parts of the plant.
