Solution

The correct option is A Oocyst
Plasmodium is the malaria-causing parasite. It is digenetic in nature. Its sexual life cycle is completed in the mosquito. The fusion of male & female gametes occurs in the mosquito. This results in the formation of a round Zygote. This zygote elongates and becomes worm life motile organism called Ookinete. This ookinete moves & bores through the wall of stomach of the female Anopheles mosquito, and begins encysting. This encysted zygote is known as Oocyst. This stage is a diploid stage.
Thus, Option A is the correct option.
