Given:- Frequency = v

To find:- Fequency with which its kinetic energy oscillates

Solution:-

Kinetic energy of the particle executing simple harmonic motion is given by,

K.E = 12mv2
=12mω2A2cos22πvt
=Ecos2ωt=E[1+cos4πvt2]
=E2+Ecos2π(2v)t2

The first term is constant and second term is oscillating having frequency 2v

Thus, the frequency of oscillation of kinetic energy is 2v.

Hence the correct option is C
