Solution

Evaporation method:

  • The evaporation method is generally defined as a process by which a liquid is transformed into vapor below its boiling point.
  • It is the process of changing the state of water from liquid to gaseous or vapor.
  • Evaporation tends to occur when a liquid material turns into a gaseous material.
  • It is a form of vaporization that usually happens on the surface of liquids and it involves the transition of the liquid particles into the gaseous phase.
  • An example can be given as; when water gets boiled, it evaporates.
  • During the boiling, the molecules move and vibrate so quickly that they scatter into the atmosphere as water vapor molecules causing evaporation of water molecules.

Hence, the evaporation method is known as a process by which an element or compound transitions from its liquid state to its gaseous state below its boiling point.
