Solution

Given:

An abundance of elements by mass

Oxygen (O) .=(61.4%)

Carbon (C) =(22.9%)

Hydrogen (H) =(10%)

Nitrogen (N) =(2.6%)

Total weight of the person =75kg

MassduetoH1=75×10100=7.5kg

H1 atoms are switched out for H2 atoms,

MassduetoH2=(7.5×2)kg

So, mass gain by a person =7.5kg

Final answer: hence the total mass gain by a person is 7.5kg.
