(c) What is the p.d. across the $3\Omega$ resistor?
(d) What is the current in the 3 resistor?
(e) What is th current in the $6\Omega$ resistor?

a) 1/R= 1/3 + 1/6

R = 2 ohm

b) V = 6 x 2 = 12 V

c) current in the 3 ohm resistor = 6 x (6/6+3) = 4 A

so, V = 4 x 3 = 12 V

d) current in the 3 ohm resistor = 6 x (6/6+3) = 4 A

e) 6A- 4A = 2A
