(a) Lead sulphate (insoluble)
(b) Lead acetate
(c) Ammonium nitrate
(d) Potassium sulphate

Option (b) is correct.

Lead acetate can be used in place of lead nitrate because like lead nitrate, it is also water soluble. It will dissociate into Pb2+ ions in water and produce lead iodide. Lead sulphate being water insoluble will not dissociate into Pb2+ ions, hence, cannot be used.
