In ΔABC and ΔADE
AB = AD [Given]
AC = AE [Given]
∠BAD = ∠EAC [Given] ---(i)
Adding ∠DAC on both side of the equation (i),
∠BAC = ∠DAE

∴ ΔABC ≅ ΔADE [SAS congruence]
⇒ BC = DE [CPCT]
