Solution

The correct option is A $6 c m$
$B L = A B - A L = 8 - 4 = 4 c m$
$A M + C M = 9 c m$
$∴ A M = 9 c m$
$\frac{A L}{B L} = \frac{A M}{C M}$
$\Rightarrow 2 C M = 36 - 4 C M$
$\Rightarrow 6 C M = 36$
$\Rightarrow C M = 6 c m$
