In the figure, side AB is produced to D

$\therefore \angle CBA+\angle CBD={180}^{\circ }$ (Linear pair)

$\Rightarrow 7y+5y={180}^{\circ }\Rightarrow 12y={180}^{\circ }$

$y=\frac{180}{12}=15$

and Ext. $\angle CBD=\angle A+\angle C$

$\Rightarrow 7y=3y+x$

$\Rightarrow 7y-3y=x$

$\Rightarrow 4y=x$

$\therefore x=4\times 15=60$
