What is the value of x and y?

The correct option is D x=2,y=2
In ABC and PQR,

AB=PQBAC=QPR AC=PR

Therefore, ABCPQR by SAS criteria.

AC=2xy=2......(i)
AB=2x+y=6..........(ii)
Adding (i) and (ii) we get,
4x=8
x=2
Substituting x in (i), we get,
2×2y=2
y=2
x=2 and y=2
