Given rational numbers are $\frac{5}{6}$ and $\frac{8}{4}$
We convert the rational numbers with the same denominators.
$\therefore \frac{5\times 2}{6\times 2}=\frac{10}{12}$ and $\frac{8\times 3}{4\times 3}=\frac{24}{12}$
i.e. 24 > 10 $\Rightarrow \frac{24}{12}>\frac{10}{12}$
Hence, $\frac{5}{6}<\frac{8}{4}$
