Open in App
Solution

STEP-1 Finding the common difference of the given AP

Let the first term of an AP be a and the common difference be d.

Then the general term is given by an=a+n-1d

We have given 5,....,......,912

a=5 an=912 and n=4

Now, a4=5+4-1d

For n=4, we have a4=912

5+4-1d=9125+3d=1923d=192-53d=92d=32

Step 2: Finding the missing term

The missing term are 2nd and 3rd term of the given AP.

So,

a2=5+d=5+32=132

a3=5+2d=5+2·32=8

Hence, the missing terms are 132 and 8
