The equivalent resistance can be calculated as:
Req=(4+2)×(2+2)(4+2)(2+2)=125Ω
Current,I=VReq=12(125)=5A
IA=I×2+2(4+2)+(2+2)
=5×410=2A
VA=12IA×(4)
=122×4=4V ...(i)
IB=I×4+2(4+2)+(2+2)=5×610=3A
VB=12IB×2=123×2=6V ...(ii)
Using (i) and (ii):
VAVB=(46)V=2V
Hence, the correct answer is option (d).
