Area of parallelogram ABCD = b×h
=4×4
=16cm2
In Δ ABF and \\gm ABCD, both are having AB as base and lying between the same parallel lines (AB and CD).

( Area of a triangle is half the area of parallelogram if both are on the same base and between the same parallels).

Area of ΔAFB=12× Area of parallelogram ABCD

=12×16=8 cm2
