The correct option is B 6 cm

As,
ΔAA,CΔBB3C
AA7BB3=ACBC
(Ratio of similar triangles are equal)

Since,by construction,AA7BB3=73,
ACBC=73
Thus, AC=73BC

Now,
ACBC=73BCBC=43BC.......(i)

Now, AB=AC+BC=15cm
AC+BC=73BC+BC=15

103BC=15

BC=4.5cm.......(ii)

From (i) and (ii)
ACBC=43×4.5
=183
=6cm
Hence,the correct answer is option b.
