Difference and similarity between the cases of Valmiki and Ansaris:
Omprakash Valmiki was discriminated against because of his caste, while the Ansaris were discriminated against of their religion. The core similarity is that they both were discriminated against because of their birth, which is prohibited under Article 15.
Discrimination in detail:
Omprakash Valmiki was not allowed to sit with his classmates on desks or mats but rather at the end of worn-out carpets because of his Dalit birth. Additionally, he was forced to sweep the school, which hurt his dignity and made him feel unequal.
On the other hand, the dignity of the Ansaris was also hurt when they were denied a flat to rent. This was because their religion differed from those of others, who were in the majority among the occupants of the apartment complex.
