The above illustration can be well explained by the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction which states that an electromotive force is produced across a conductor when it is exposed to a time varying magnetic field. So, here the conducting loop containing bulb would be characterized by a flow of current due to change in magnetic field lines per unit time across the area enclosed by the loop, and hence causing the bulb to glow. Out of the given arrangements the relative motion between the conductor and magnet is only observed in A & C, therefor e bulb would glow in both the arrangements.
