Solution

The correct option is C Sperm
The sperm is the haploid male gamete which is produced by the process of spermatogenesis. The sperm contains a single set of 23 chromosomes. This is the genes which are obtained from the father. The egg cell contains the other set of 23 chromosomes. The gametes fuse to produce the zygote which is diploid.
The somatic cells and the primary spermatocytes are diploid. the mature RBCs do not have the nucleus and do not contain the genes.
Thus, the correct answer is option A.
