The correct option is D will become four times
The fringe width is given by,
β=λDd...(1)

Distance between the slits is reduced to half i.e d2 and distance between the slit and screen is doubled i.e 2D.

So, β=λ 2Dd2=(λDd)4...(2)

On comparing equations (1) & (2), we get β=4β
i.e. the fringe width becomes four times.

Hence, (D) is the correct answer,
