The Russian Socialist party was divided into Bolsheviks and Mensheviks group.
a. Mensheviks which was a minor party formed under the leadership of Alexander Kerenskii differed with Bolsheviks over the organisation of the party that is what should be the structure, membership etc of the party.
b. Differences arose were over the strategy of how to incorporate members and what should be the membership criteria
c. While Bolsheviks believed that party should have restricted membership, must be disciplined and must regulate the number of people. It wanted high quality members, Mensheviks on the other believed that party membership must be opened to all.
