Open in App
Solution

Centriole:

  1. Centriole is a cylindrical organelle that is composed of a protein called tubulin.
  2. All animal cells have two centrioles.
  3. They help the cell during cell division, during the process of mitosis and meiosis.
  4. Adult neuron cells do not divide, i.e., they are amitotic and hence they lack centrioles.
