The Golgi Apparatus, also known as the Golgi Complex or Golgi Body, is a membrane-bound organelle found near the Endoplasmic Reticulum in Eukaryotic cells.
It is made up of 4 to 8 Cisternae.
Transporting and altering proteins and lipids for distribution to other sections of the plant are the main functions of the Golgi apparatus (Usually found in multiple numbers in plant cells).
