Question

Is human blood prokaryotic or eukaryotic?

Open in App
Solution

Human blood:

  1. Despite being eukaryotic cells, red blood cells lack mitochondria. This is due to the role red blood cells play in the transportation of oxygen.
  2. Blood courses through our body and conveys fundamental substances like oxygen and supplements to the body's cells.
  3. Prokaryotes are biological unicellular creatures that consist of a single prokaryotic cell.
  4. Basic cells without a true core or other cell organelles are known as prokaryotic cells.
  5. Prokaryotes include microbes and Archaea.
  6. Any cell or living thing with a clearly defined centre is called a eukaryote.
  7. The different chromosomes (bodies containing the inherited material) are situated in an atomic film that surrounds the centre of the eukaryotic cell.
  8. As part of the eukaryotic system, human blood cells are classified as eukaryotic cells.
  9. They begin life with cells and mitochondria, just like other eukaryotic cells, but as they mature, they lose their organelles.
  10. As a result, they're sometimes referred to as mature prokaryotes.
