The process of clearing trees for the purpose of agriculture or building industries is known as deforestation. Deforestation also occurs because of some natural causes such as forest fires, droughts, and cyclones. However, the major cause of deforestation is the cutting of trees by humans for cultivation, building houses and factories.
A permanent solution to deforestation would therefore be proper planning on part of humans to understand the importance of trees. Simply planting trees is not a solution to this problem. We need to find that where major deforestation has taken place and practice more afforestation in that region. Also, vigorous cutting of trees for the purpose of development should be avoided. Thus the best solution to deforestation is to not allow them to be cut.
