(A) Average speed of plane:

Distance from Patna to Ranchi =$260km$ Time taken $=30min=30/60=0.5hrs$

Average speed= Total distance/ Time =$260/0.5=2600/5=520km/hr$

(B) Average speed of bus: Distance =$320km$, Time=$8hrs$,

Average speed = Total distance/ time =$320/8=40km/hr$

(C) Average velocity of Plane :

Average velocity= Displacement/time Displacement of plane =$260km$ [ it is straight path]

Displacement of plane=$260/0.5=520km/hr$ and direction is from Patna to Ranchi straight.

{D) Average velocity of bus=$260/8=32.5km/hr$ and direction is from Patna to Ranchi straight.
