Marked price of the article = ₹ 1500 ; Successive discount d1 = 10% and Successive discount d2 = 20 %

Effective price shopkeeper pays for the article

= M.P. ×100d1100×100d2100
= 1500 ×10010100×10020100
= 2500 ×90100×80100
= ₹ 1080

Amount spent on transportation = ₹ 20
New price = 1080 + 20 = ₹ 1100
Profit = 1100×20100=220
Selling price = 1100+ 220
= ₹ 1320
