Solution : Ratio of Jayanta, Ajit and Kunal's profit $= 800 : 1000 : 1200 = 4 : 5 : 6$ . $∴$ Ratio of their capitals $= 4 : 5 : 6$
So, the part of Jayanta's capital $= \frac{4}{4 + 5 + 6} = \frac{4}{15}$
$∴$ In ₹ 15000 , Jayanta's capital $= ₹ 15000 \times \frac{4}{5} = ₹ 12000$
Hence, in the business Jayanta invested ₹ 12000 .
