Jessy tossed a coin and rolled a dice having 6 faces. The probability of getting head on the coin and 4 on the dice is (upto two decimal places).

When a coin is tossed their is a possibility of getting either heads or tails.

And, our favourable outcome is head.

So, probability of getting Heads be P(H)=Favourable number of outcometotal number of outcome

P(H)=12

Now,
Total number of outcomes of dice will be =6
i.e {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}

Probability of getting 4 on dice is P(4)=Favourable number of outcometotal number of outcome

P(4)=16

Since, both the events are independent, the probability of getting head on a coin and 4 on a dice is P(E) = P(H)×P(4)

P(E)=12×16=112=0.08333...

But we have to calculate upto two decimal places so required probability will be 0.08.
