Solution

The correct option is A 12 gal
Let's first convert every capacity into pints.
Joe bought 2 packs of refined oil.

Each refined oil has a capacity of 1 pt.

Capacity of refined oil bought =2×1 pt
=2 pt

Joe also bought coconut oil of capacity =1 cup
We know,
2 cups=1 pt
1 cup=12 pt

Joe bought 12 pt of coconut oil.

Joe's sister bought three packs of 12 pt mustard oil.
Quantity of mustared oil bought =3×12 pt
=112 pt

Total quantity of oil bought =Quantity of refined oil+Quantity of coconut oil+Quantity of mustered oil
=2 pt+12 pt+112 pt
=(2+1) pt+(12+12) pt
=4 pt

We know,
=8 pt=1 gal
4 pt=12 gal

Quantity of oil bought all together =12 gal
