So, C.P of washing machine $=\frac{S.P}{100-\text{loss}\%}\times 100$

$=\frac{13500}{100-20}\times 100$

$=\frac{100}{80}\times 13500$

$=\frac{5}{4}\times 13500$
$=5\times 3375$
$=16875$
$\therefore$ C.P of washing machine $=Rs.16875.$
