KOREAN WAR INCREASED THE ENMITY BETWEEN NORTH KOREA AND SOUTH KOREA. GIVE REASONS TO JUSTIFY THIS STATEMENT

Open in App
Solution

Korean War led to the division of the Korean peninsula between North and South Korea. The North came under communist control supported by the Soviet Union while the south became a capitalist country supported by the United States. The two countries, therefore, became divided by ideology. Moreover, they never signed a peace treaty due to which, the two countries are still technically at war. Thus, the Korean War was the source of enmity between the two countries.
