Total amount of mixture by Lalit $= \frac{1}{3} l i t r e s + \frac{1}{5} l i t r e s$
$\Rightarrow \frac{1}{3} + \frac{1}{5} = \frac{1 \times 5 + 1 \times 3}{15} = \frac{8}{15} l i t r e s$ ( on taking LCM of denominators )
Hence, total mixture will be equal to $\frac{8}{15} l i t r e s$ .
