Leena has 117 rupees in the form of 5 rupees and 2 rupees coins. The number of 2 rupees is 4 times that of 5 rupees coins. Find the number of each denomination

Let number of Rs. 5 coin = x
number of Rs. 2 coins = 4x
total money = $(5\times x)+(4x\times 2)$ = 5x+8x =117
$\Rightarrow 13x=117$
$\therefore x=9$
Hence, the number of Rs. 5 coins= x = 9
number of Rs. 2 coins = 4x = 4$\times$9 = 36
