Open in App
Solution

Given: n(A) = 5, n(A B) = 9 and n(A B) = 2

We have to find n(B).

Now, n(A B) = n(A) + n(B) - n(A B)
9 = 5 + n(B) - 2
n(B) = 9 - 3
n(B) = 6
