Question

Let f(x)=x+2+1log10(1x). Then find the domain of f(x).

Open in App
Solution

f(x)=x+2+1log10(1x).
Now x+2 is defined for x+20x2.....(1).
Again 1log10(1x) is defined for log10(1x)0 and (1x)>0.
or, x0 and x<1.
So the domain for f(x) is [2,0)(0,1).
