Let the the co-ordinates of the two points $(x+y,1)$ and $(3,x-y)$ are same. Then find $x,y$.

Given the points area $(x+y,1)$ & $(3,x-y)$

They will be equal only when,

$x+y=3$ & $x-y=1$

Then $x=\frac{3+1}{2}=2$ & $y=\frac{3-1}{2}=1$.
