Let A=(1,2,3), B=(4,2,0) and C=(2,2,2)
Now let C divide the line joining BA in the ration M:N.
Then CZ=MAZ+NBZM+N
2=M×3+N×0M+N
2M+2N=3M
2N=M
NM=12
Hence, the required ratio is 1:2.
