Let, b=x^i+y^j+z^k
Now,
a×b=c
(zy)^i(zx)^j+(yx)^k=0^i+^j^k
z=y ….(i)
z+x=1 ….(ii)
yx=1 ……(iii)
and, ab=3
x+y+z=3 ….(iv)
Solving equations (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv) we get;
x=53;y=z=23
|b|=(5/3)2+(2/3)2+(2/3)2=11/3.
